MY SPECIAL FRIEND

Linh Linh, my special friend, is a gynecologist and obstetrician. Like fate, we met together at medical school in Hochiminh city. When we first met, i didn't get along with her. I didn't know why. She was a smart, nice and friendly person. She helped all of students who needed help. She always made her friends happy. Days went by, my mind changed. I was glad to talk to her. We went out to eat, to travel around city by bicycle. We usually went to " Ben Nha Rong" to relax every Friday evening. The scenery in there was very beautiful. One day, We saw a couple who were kissing in front of us. That thing made us embarrassed. We left there right away and we didn't come back.

Memories filled up in my heart. We also studied with each other at library. We needed to borrow some English medical books from library, but librarians were picky. When we came there, we tried to be very nice to them to borrow books. Some day, we didn't get books. We did hated librarians. Furthermore, We had to study in hallway for the tests and took afternoon nap at the second floor in my school. Important thing was the first floor was a cadaver room. There were a lot of cadavers in there. We practiced anatomy human everyday. We took pictures together in that room. One thing made me to be scary was someday second floor didn't have free space for us. We must take a nap at first floor, but not infront of its room.

When we graduated from university, we still kept in touch even though we didn't work the same major, same hospital and same city. We always told each other stories by phone or e-mail. She was only person I told the truth in my stories. She usually gave me good advise. Sometimes she made me to be angry; but we respected each other our options.

Fortunately, she came to work same city with me. We had chances to hang out after work for short time. But then I got married. I left her and moved far away from her. Now, we still send each other e-mail or phone. She finally found her love too. I'm very happy to hear about that. I wish her happiness, laughter and success in her life.
